Proof That Bloggers Do More Than Just Engage in Idle Chatter

Phil Klein, of the American Spectator, unearths a 1994 interview wherein Fred Thompson says that the ultimate decision to have an abortion "must be made by the woman."

Phil is right to note that during Thompson's eight years in the senate, "his voting record was solidly pro-life," but as Matt Lewis observes, such inconsistencies mean that "it's time to officially welcome" Thompson to the microscope of presidential politics.
