Hagel Was Right All Along

Each time I extol Chuck Hagel for his outspokenness on Iraq, I do so cautiously, knowing that many of my colleagues in the rightroots strongly disagree.

But now comes vindication (or at least cover) from no less than the Republican Senate Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell:

Many of the predictions that Chuck made about how the war might go have come true.

McConnell's going to catch hell for this remark, but bully for him for adhering to what I've dubbed the GOP's 12th commandment: putting principle before party.
