Matt Cooper, the Washington editor of Portfolio, speculates that Paul Wolfowitz will resign "before the week is over."

Jose Antonio Vargas (who also authored the Post's socnet article) examines the role of "online political operatives," or OPOs, within the top six presidential campaigns.

Last week saw the inaugural issue of Blogger & Podcaster, the first trade magazine devoted to the blogging and podcasting media communities. Publisher Larry Genkin says that this is the first time a publication launched simultaneously in three formats with different content: print, online and podcast editions.

Longtime Republican operatives, Barbara Comstock and Mark Corallo, recently formed Corallo-Comstock, a crisis-communications company. But whereas Comstock is a member of Mitt Romney's inner circle, Corallo is Fred Thompson's communications director. Complicating matters further, as Chris Cillizza reports, Barbara is a friend of Thompson's wife, Jeri.
